Scott Langham is native to San Antonio. He graduated from MacArthur High School in 1998 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with an emphasis on investments from Texas A&M University in 2002. At A&M, Scott was selected to be a Tanner Fund Manager, a student managed endowment where the class directs the investment portfolio.
Scott began his professional career as a Portfolio Counselor for Merrill Lynch’s Private Wealth Management Division. He then worked as an advisor in the Individual Investor Group at Morgan Stanley before joining Lincoln Financial Advisors in 2004 as a financial planner. In 2005, he partnered with Patrick Lynch and Steve Markey to form WhiteStone Financial Group. Scott relocated to New York City in the fall of 2007 to open WhiteStone Financial Group’s Wall Street office. The physical New York office was closed during the pandemic, but Scott still splits time between New York and San Antonio.
Scott designed and built the Phase Plan, a tool that Whitestone utilizes to help clients plan for retirement and evaluate their overall financial situation. Scott is also an expert on 1031 real estate exchanges.
Scott married his wife, Betsey, in 2014 and has 2 beautiful daughters. Scott enjoys playing softball every Thursday night and golf when time permits.
